“They say you can’t get rid of Arthritis. Once you’ve got it you’ve got it for life.”
Said a lady to me at the gym today.
Is it possible…?
(Btw the picture of the lovely lady here is one of my clients who had been told a similar thing and chose not to believe the above statement. I’ll share her experience in a bit…).
I asked her, “Do you want to keep the Arthritis or get rid of it?”
We all have choices.
To be well and healthy…
Or to be sick and unhealthy…
Maybe you’ve been diagnosed with Arthritis and have been told you’ve got it for life?
How does that make you feel?
Now, those of you not familiar with my messages or train of thought, I tend to be a bit controversial and go against the “status quo”. Many people may not “get me” and I’m cool with that.
I know from personal experience of sorting out my own pain conditions and those of my clients what’s possible to achieve with the human body…
Here’s the thing…
At times it can seem easier to simply deal with the symptoms and “get rid” of them, rather than deal with the root cause.
With experience of helping people with pain conditions, I can clearly say dealing soley with the symptoms alone is ineffective.
Whatever appears in the body whether “healthy” or “unhealthy”…
Any sickness, dis-ease or ailment manifested in the physical body is a result of what’s going on emotionally and mentally. It’s part of the Mind Body Connection principle.
When I mentioned this to the lady I was speaking with she admitted her emotional wellbeing was “all over the place” and couldn’t be bothered to do anything about it.
So, there her choice was made.
Here is one beautiful lady I had the pleasure of helping who had been diagnosed with Arthritis.
The following is not the case for everyone. She simply chose to do what was required to sort out her condition.
“Before going to Lillian for the first time I was about to retire and had joined a gym because I was worried about merging into a sofa. However I was also on arthritis medication and tramadol (morphine) for bone and muscle pain in the middle of the night. My shoulders were tight and I needed help to put my coat on. Kneeling was a thing of the past as I needed to use my forearms to lever myself up as my wrists were agony.
So I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try a massage to loosen up. I knew Lillian from the changing room at the local gym, so asked if she thought she could help me and she said, “maybe”. She lied! After the first massage I went home and snuggled up on the sofa and miraculously slept through the night with NO medication. Within 6 months I was off medication altogether! I didn’t have arthritis in my shoulders and wrists and knees. I had tight muscles because I hadn’t been using them enough. The results have been permanent.
My shoulders are fully flexible, my wrists are good andmy knees are bendy. Lillian has miracle fingers. I am grateful to her for helping me make more of my retirement.”
