How are you feeding your emotions?
How you feel in your body is based on the thoughts you think in your mind.
Over the past few weeks I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with people who are looking to do something about their health and body. Lose weight, stop having diabetes, high blood pressure, pain, cravings for sweet stuff, through to wanting to get rid of fibroids, belly fat, managing stress, etc.
They were interested in any advice I had to give, along with any tips, which I was happy to provide, but the thing is….
You can have all the tips and advice the world has to offer, but if your foundation is faulty, what you desire to happen in your body, in the way of true health, will not manifest.
By “foundation” I mean your emotional health.
We’re so use to focusing on doing something about our physical health, our mental health, but our emotional health gets neglected.

How you feed your emotions, with the thoughts that you think, will motion you, will move you, towards having either a positive experience or a negative experience. Easy or heavy. Light or dark.
By emotions I’m talking….
Joy, peace, happiness, love, forgiveness…
Anger, resentment, bitterness, fear, unforgiveness, hatred, jealousy, envy, grief, sadness, etc…
How healthy are your emotions?
Your body will tell you….
There has been plenty of research done over the years about how what we think and the quality of our emotions are connected to what shows up in our bodies – true health or dis-ease.
When people come to me with a health or body situation my first step is to “look” at them holistically and locate what is going on at the foundational level. What is the root cause?
If after a year (in most cases it’s been longer for some people), someone has been doing all the good stuff of eating healthy, exercising, sleeping well, managing their stress, etc., BUT they’re still struggling to lose weight, manage their blood sugar levels, manage their blood pressure, still in pain, the fibroids or PCOS is the same or worse, then looking at what’s going on at the foundational level is key.
Now, not everyone is prepared to do this because this is deep work. This is the level at which wonderful things can happen if you allow them.
Some are happy to just have the tips and advice, go it alone and see what happens.
They try “everything” or do the same thing over and over, and expect a different result…..but when the result they desire doesn’t manifest they give up, quit or go back to what they tried before to see “if it will work this time”. It doesn’t work, simply because the foundation needs attention.
So, that’s my share for today.
